Microblading, what it is and its benefits

By 30 April 2015August 25th, 2022No Comments

Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method of Semipermanent Makeup of Japanese origin. It is considered to be semi-permanent or permanent as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re putting in colour closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine.

Like all Semipermanent make up, this method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania, over plucking, recovering from Chemotherapy or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows.

The design, in my opinion is the most important, time consuming and face changing part, this is something that both the client and myself as a professional have to agree on and as a result of this my clients always leave looking and feeling pleasantly transformed.
